Heartland believes that strong marriages and families are the backbone of a healthy church and a healthy community. We also recognize that our own home is built up when we share the journey into the homes and lives of others.
One of the key places we are able to strengthen homes is when families can join together in a mixed adult setting. There are also amazing opportunities for personal growth and transformation when we are able to be challenged and shaped by other genders and other couples.
Mixed Adult Small Groups offer one of the few places in life that couples can meet with other couples to support each other, have an invigorating discussion on the important issues of life, or grab all the kids and head out camping as a group of families. A mixed adult small group meets as couples, single adults or a mixture of both. In any combination of these, you will be sure to find a new and broader family to extend whatever family situation you are coming from and to encourage you as you face whatever life may bring.

Pastor of Men & Small Groups
Greg originally comes from Grande Prairie, and arrived at Heartland in early 2016, following 20 years of various pastoral roles in 4 other Alliance churches. One of his greatest passions is to see people step out in faith and discover the potential God has created in them, so working with men and coaching small group leaders provide great opportunities for him to do what he loves! Greg also really enjoys music, fishing, sports and games of all kinds, and is blessed to do life together with his kids Jon & Rachel and his best friend Debra (married since 1991). But most of all, Greg is constantly overwhelmed with the depth of God's grace to him, and wants to live fully surrendered and completely devoted to Jesus.
